The purpose of becoming Board Certified and passing the ANMCB Exam is to provide an indicator for consumers to determine whether a candidate has been appropriately trained and qualified to provide natural health services. Developed by Naturopaths, the exam serves as a review of your natural health program. The ANMCB Study Guide will be provided to you upon receipt of a complete ANMCB application. The ANMCB Study Guide will provide you with an overview of the exam with the types of subjects and topics that will be covered on the exam with sources. It is advisable to submit your ANMCB application early to receive the ANMCB Study Guide to start your preparation.
You have an option to further your exam preparation by taking an ANMCB Exam Review Course. The Exam Review course is not required to take the exam, rather another option for preparing for the exam. See below for more preparation information.
As an option to further prepare for the exam, the Int’l Institute of Natural Wellness Education – Know Your Wellness, offers the ANMCB Exam Preparation Course. This course is specifically designed to help candidates prepare for the ANMCB exam. This comprehensive course consists of online modules, interactive training with your clinical advisor as well as interactive study materials. The ANMCB Prep Course has been updated and is fully available online now! You can prepare for the exam on your own schedule and location.
You can enroll online for the Prep Course and begin preparing for the exam immediately. Know Your Wellness will also offer a live review class on the Thursday before the exam in Las Vegas.
The ANMCB Exam will be offered as an in-person exam in Las Vegas each August. The combination of online modules and the live in person review class makes Know Your Wellness the leader in Naturopathy education. Interested candidates should register directly with KnowYourWellness.org.
ANMCB EXAM PREPARATION OPTIONS
The Board grants candidates the opportunity to take the ANMCB Board Certification Exam by Proctor for an additional $100 administrative fee.
You must submit the ANMCB certification application along with a written request stating your reason for the need for Proctoring Services 30 days prior to the examination date. Limited Dates available.

PROCTORING
Proctoring Services are generally found at your local Library or Community College Testing Centers. The ANMCB Exam Proctoring option is only available in the US. ANMCB Exam Proctoring Services are available on a limited basis. Please contact us for more information to coordinate with the Proctoring Service.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADA), the Board will accept applications making reasonable exam accommodations. The Board will waive the $100 administrative fee and offer the exam year-round to qualifying ADA candidates.
ANMCB EXAM OPTIONS
Please complete the ANMCB Application and select the certification title which reflects your education. Submit requested documents, and two letters of reference, along with payment 30 days prior to the ANMCB exam date. To maintain the Board Certification, you must renew annually by submitting 20 natural health continuing education units and the renewal fee.
