BOARD CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
AND RENEWAL INFORMATION
The American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board, ANMCB is the national Board Certification agency for Naturopaths and Natural Health throughout the United States. Registered with the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs in Washington, D.C. ANMCB offers Board Certification by examination, or recognition according to education and experience deemed equivalent. ANMCB is an independent Board and is not affiliated with a school or training programs.
ANMCB TITLES AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Please complete the ANMCB Application and select the Board Certification title which reflects your education. Submit requested documents, a letter of reference, along with payment 30 days prior to the ANMCB Exam date. To maintain the Board Certification you must renew annually by submitting 20 natural health continuing education units and the renewal fee.
SPECIALTY BOARD CERTIFICATION TITLES
All specialty Board Certifications renew annually with 20 CEUs and a $150 renewal fee.

BOARD CERTIFICATION RENEWAL INFORMATION
By becoming and maintaining your certification annually you are demonstrating you are committed to your profession and continuing to learn and grow. Staying current with ANMCB is easy. ANMCB does not designate how or from whom you must obtain your continuing education, the only requirement is that the education is healthcare related.
The ANMCB requires Board Certified professionals to renew each year. You are required to complete 20 continuing education units (CEUs) and submit a $150.00 renewal fee in order to keep certification current. Continuing education is essential to staying current and effective in natural health care. The Board will accept 20 CEUs from Natural Health Care Conferences, Conventions, Completed Courses, Seminars, Training Programs, Internship, and Research.
